I know what it's like to feel overwhelmed, juggling all the different
parts of your life with no consideration for your own wellbeing
I remember the point when I reached my limit. Every day I was juggling the many different segments of my life, young children, an elderly dependant parent and a relationship that was breaking down. I felt exhausted and helpless. I eventually experienced adrenal fatigue, though I didn't realise at the time that I was suffering, even though the tell-tale signs of overwhelm were there.
Self-care was not in my vocabulary: my role models had taught me that women didn't take time out for themselves, and certainly didn't waste time focusing on their own health and wellbeing. So it came as quite a shock when I was forced to take stock of what my life had become, and I was hit with the realisation that maybe I was worth more.
Over time, I changed my life around, regaining not only my energy, but also an increased sense of wellbeing and personal empowerment. Most importantly I rebuilt my perception of self-worth, and my confidence soared.

But it didn't come easily. Throughout this difficult period, I struggled to get everything done and something had to give. I lost sight of who I was and what I wanted in life. I wanted more. I needed to sort my life out, but I didn't know where to start.
After careful thought, I decided to invest time, effort and money into professional support to rebuild my health and wellbeing; it was the best thing I could have done. I'm not saying it was a simple process - it took commitment, perseverance and getting over many setbacks to bring me to where I am today - but overcoming the many challenges I faced and all the accompanying fears, turned me into a stronger, more independent and focused woman. Now I know what I want in life, and how to ask for my needs and desires. I'm empowered to create a lifestyle that suits my desires.
Everything I've been through makes me passionate about helping others in similar situations; we are all different, with different needs and desires, but I can support you to create the best version of your life and the best version of yourself.
