Homeopathy

Homeopathy seeks to restore your health in a gentle yet effective manner removing the risk of side effects, yet is powerful and far reaching.

As a Homeopath I search for a ‘cause’ as to why you became ill initially. This is an important concern in Homeopathy as it doesn’t just look at the symptoms but rather understand what the body is trying to tell us. The body has its own innate intelligence and gives us the ‘clues’ in the symptoms it sends out.

The reason or cause of your condition may not be obvious to yourself but with careful enquiry its revelation will lead me to a choice of Homeopathic remedies that can help relieve the symptoms you are experiencing and bring you back into a healthy balance. I enquire into all aspects of your life from present day back to childhood. This helps you to understand the process and why you might have become ill in the first place. I encourage clients to play a full part in their recovery with the aid of the remedies. Thus the whole process of Homeopathy is to individualise the disease process and the remedies that are selected are individualised to your needs.

We understand more and more these days that stress plays an important part in our health and here I bring in my coaching skills to assist you in understanding how you process stress and what you can do to minimise it.

With 20 years of experience clients have come to me with many complaints ranging from sudden illness like flu, colds, sore throats, and stomach upsets to long-term illness such as asthma, allergies, arthritis, IBS, ME and menstrual problems. Emotional conditions such as long term grief after a bereavement, stress and PMT are often brought to the Homeopathic consultation as are problems that babies and children go through such as teething, shyness in school and exam stress.

Homeopathy is often turned to after long-term medical treatment has failed to produce effective results. It can be safely used alongside conventional medicine.
